Here are some more plans on how to build a deer stand. These are pretty simple deer stand plans. It’s drawn on grid paper where each grid represents 1 foot x 1 foot.
You should use 1.5″ wood screws to attach the plywood to the braces. These plans were sent to me by e-mail and I haven’t seen any instructions to go along with them. I’m assuming the 2×4’s are split in half to make 2×2’s to use for the braces. The sloped roof isn’t necessary but it can increase the lifespan of the deer stand by helping water to drain off of the rofo instead of sitting there soaking into it. If you put a metal/tin roof on, a slope isn’t important and the life of the stand will be increased even more.
